Lineup announced for the celebrity basketball game on Saturday

If you weren’t planning on attending the Braylon Edwards Foundation’s celebrity basketball game on Saturday at Crisler Arena, now is the time to reconsider.  The complete rosters for the two teams have been announced, and both teams have some great names on them.

The emcee for the game will be Gary Owens, DJ and voice actor.  The referees will be Jason Richardson (former basketball player for Michigan State University and current NBA player) and Lamarr Woodley (former University of Michigan football player and current NFL player).

Team Michigan will be taking on Team Ballers.  Team Michigan will be coached by Mike Hart (former U of M football player and current NFL player), with Dominique Dawes (Olympic Gold Medal winner in gymnastics) acting as assistant coach.  The head coach of Team Ballers is Derrick Coleman (former NBA player), and the assistant coach is Rick Mahorn (former Detroit Piston Bad Boy/NBA player).

The roster for Team Michigan is as follows:

Braylon Edwards-Former U of M football player; current NFL player (New York Jets)

Steve Breaston-Former U of M football player; current NFL player (Arizona Cardinals)

Adrian Arrington-Former U of M football player; current NFL player (New Orleans Saints)

Ryan Mundy-Former U of M football player; current NFL player (Pittsburgh Steelers)

Jonathan Goodwin-Former U of M football player; current NFL player (New Orleans Saints)

Brent Petway-Former U of M basketball player

Jimmy King-Former U of M and NBA basketball player

Team Ballers’ roster:

Kerry Rhodes-NFL player for the Arizona Cardinals

Ira Newble-Former NBA player and current overseas player

Deanna Nolan-Current WNBA player for the Shock

Dr. Darrius-DJ for WJLB

Erin Nicole-Arena hostess for Detroit Pistons, WXYZ Traffic Reporter

Maliah-Model

This game is a great chance to see former University of Michigan players and celebrities in the great city of Ann Arbor.
