NFL Star Helps Families In Detroit
Detroit (WXYZ) -Pro Football star Braylon Edwards returned home to Detroit to help hungry families and also support arts and education.

The Cleveland Browns’ wide receiver is teaming up with the anti hunger group "Feed The Children."  They will provide food and personal care items to pre-chosen Detroit families on Friday June 26.

Edwards returns home to Detroit Each year to make a difference in people’s lives.

He is also hosting his Annual Celebrity Charity Weekend, which includes fundraisers to support arts and education in Detroit.

On Saturday June 27, Edwards and the foundation that bears his name, will host the "Women Moving Forward and Reaching Back" awards brunch. It will take place at the Detroit Institute of Arts from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.
